Who It’s For

Drivers and carriers using 395.1(e)(1).

How to Use It

Use this weekly form only after confirming the property-carrying driver qualifies under 49 CFR 395.1(e)(1). A separate page captures the prior seven days for first-time or intermittent drivers. Use the linked eligibility tool for other situations, including the distinct non-CDL exception.

What’s Included

  • Weekly daily-time table
  • Eligibility reminder
  • Prior seven-day duty record

For this property-carrier exception: stay within 150 air miles, return to the normal reporting location and be released within 14 consecutive hours, and have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between shifts. Applicable driving and cycle limits still apply.

*Driving hours help check the applicable driving limit. Total on-duty time must include all duty, not just driving. Enter actual release dates for overnight shifts and identify days off.

Retain required time records for 6 months. If a condition fails, determine the required record of duty status and ELD obligations for that day.

Provide actual total on-duty time for each of the preceding 7 days, including duty for other employers, and the time last relieved from duty. Do not fabricate hours or assume missing days were off duty.
